One network, four traditions

Mandiram serves the Sanatani, Sikh, Bauddh and Jain communities as one network. This is the product's founding premise, not a piece of civility boilerplate: content that treats any of these traditions as lesser, or that uses one place's community to attack another, does not belong here.

Be accurate about real places

The listings on Mandiram are real buildings with real communities around them. Do not claim authority over a place you have no connection to — the claim flow exists for that, and every claim is reviewed before it is accepted.

Do not post timings, festival dates or contact details you have not verified. People act on what they read in a post.

What gets removed

In plain language, this covers what is not allowed:

• Impersonating another person or place.
• Harassment or threats.
• Obscene or sexually explicit material.
• Anything that harms a child.
• Content that invades someone's privacy.
• Incitement to violence.
• Content infringing copyright or trademark.
• Deliberate misinformation about a place or a tradition.
• Spam and commercial solicitation.

How to report something

There is no report button in Mandiram today. To report content, write to the grievance contact with a link to what you are reporting and what is wrong with it. It will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.

What happens when something is reported

A person reviews it. Content may be removed, and an account may lose access.

You can contest any decision through the same grievance process.
