Agreeing to these terms

Using Mandiram means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Mandiram.

Who can use Mandiram

You must be at least 13 years old to hold a Mandiram account.

If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use it.

You may hold one account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Mandiram sends no email and does not verify your address, so there is no email-based way to recover an account you lose access to — if you forget your password or lose access, there is no reset link Mandiram can send you.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you write on Mandiram.

By posting, you grant Mandiram the licence it needs to store what you wrote and show it to other people on the product — that licence is limited to running Mandiram, not a transfer of ownership.

You are responsible for what you post.

Donations

A donation entry on Mandiram records an intention to donate only. It does not transfer money.

No payment gateway is connected to Mandiram.

A donation entry produces no receipt, and it is not an 80G certificate or any other tax instrument.

Any actual giving happens outside Mandiram, directly with the place — Mandiram is not a party to it.

Photographs on listings

No place in the imported directory came with a real photograph. Every listing image you see is an illustrative stock photograph with no relation to that place.

Do not treat an image on a listing as evidence of what a place actually looks like.

The directory

The listings on Mandiram were imported in bulk from an earlier data set. They may be inaccurate, out of date, or duplicated.

A listing is not an endorsement of that place, an affiliation with it, or a claim that Mandiram represents it.

If you have authority over a place, the claim flow exists for you to say so, and claims are reviewed before they are accepted.

What you may not do

You may not use Mandiram to:

• Impersonate another person or place.
• Post content that is obscene, that harasses someone, or that invades someone's privacy.
• Post content that harms a child.
• Infringe someone else's intellectual property.
• Present misinformation as fact.
• Do anything unlawful.
• Interfere with Mandiram or scrape it.

Removing content and accounts

Mandiram may remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines.

You can raise a complaint about any such action through the grievance process. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.

No warranty, and the limits of our liability

Mandiram is provided as-is. Directory data may be wrong.

To the extent the law allows, Mandiram is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top of this page changes whenever this document does. Continuing to use Mandiram after a change means accepting it.
